Nine international travel sellers will travel the West Coast of New Zealand in May.
The trip begins in Christchurch, with visits to Maruia Hot Springs and Reefton Distilling Co. before continuing along the coast, visiting the Mawhera Pounamu Pathway and the Pancake Rocks & Blowholes, with an overnight stay at Scenic Hotel Punakaiki. Day two includes the Paparoa Experience, followed by site inspections at Te Aka Treehouse - Native Forest Retreat, Lake Brunner Eco Lodge (lunch included), and Awatuna Sunset Lodge. The group will then experience the West Coast Treetop Walk and Tower Zipline, and stay overnight at Legacy Te Waonui Hotel, Franz Josef.
The following day features a visit to the West Coast Wildlife Centre, a kayak and walk tour, and a quad biking adventure with Franz Josef Wilderness Tours. Site inspections include Glenfern Villas, Kahere Retreat, and Rainforest Retreat, with dinner at Blue Ice Restaurant & Bar.
The final day starts with a scenic flight with Heliservices.NZ, followed by a visit to Heritage Jade in Hokitika. The trip concludes with lunch and a brewery tour at Monteith's Brewery, before the group takes the TranzAlpine train back to Christchurch, with a final overnight stay at Hotel Montreal.
This trip will allow the travel sellers to experience the West Coast's natural landscapes, cultural sites, and activities.
