Runners from across New Zealand will have the opportunity to test themselves against the wild West Coast terrain in August 2021
Red Cross Resilience Ultra
Runners from across New Zealand will have the opportunity to test themselves against the wild West Coast terrain in August 2021 with the addition of a new endurance race; the Resilience Ultra, proudly powered by New Zealand Red Cross.
Brought to life as a fundraiser for the largest humanitarian network in the world and in recognition of the bountiful landscapes of the West Coast, this event includes a 62km Ultra, a 33km Painkiller mid-distance and a 10km Gold short course.
Do you have the mental and physical resilience to complete this grueling run on Saturday 7 August 2021?
Starting and finishing in the historic town of Reefton, the Resilience Ultra will take participants on a journey into the past by venturing through the native beech forests and historic goldfields of Victoria Forest Park.
Many of the tracks have been formed by linking mining roads, tracks and tramways that are as historic as the relics found along them. These iconic trails reveal many tales and give you a glimpse of what life was once like in “Quartzopolis”.
Have you signed up yet to the inaugural Resilience Ultra? Saturday 7th August - Reefton, West Coast.
