Race to the polls to celebrate 125 years in Greymouth.

10am: Assemble outside Grey District Library. Come in Victorian costume or suffragette colours: green, white and purple. Planting of a Kate Sheppard camellia.

10:10am: Organised march, along Mackay Street footpath across the pedestrian crossing and into Tainui Street, assembling in the town square. Welcome address.

10:25am: Re-enactment of Election Day, 28 November 1893, and the far-famed Mackay Street race to the polling booth.

10:30am: Presentations. Judging of the best dressed participants. Suffrage 125 Event Group photo with 'Mrs Benyon' and 'Mrs McPherson.'
