The theme for the event will be ‘Ready to Welcome’. We will be providing delegates with an inspiring line up of speakers, and we will take every opportunity to maximise the potential of the online environment, to ensure interaction and thought-provoking content. We’re also looking at ways we can responsibly bring the industry together around the country – as we know, in person connection is so important.

Exciting event programme content

We are proud to bring you an exciting event programme which will:

  • focus on the restart of tourism and look to the future
  • provide content and inspiration to enable tourism businesses to get ready for international visitors again
  • reconnect the industry to the ‘Destination New Zealand’ being marketed offshore
  • provide ways for individuals to reconnect, online and in person.

Inspiring half-day speaker programme

An inspiring half-day speaker programme will be livestreamed from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. It will include:

  • TIA Chief Executive Rebecca Ingram

  • an aviation update
  • a keynote from MC Jehan Casinader on wellness and resilience

Take part in practical business workshops

Workshops on the morning of 26 May will cover topics from how to apply trends and innovative thinking to your business, marketing and product development, reducing your footprint, making the Tiaki promise relevant to your business, gearing up your workforce and managing your revenue.

Delegates will be able to attend two workshops on the day, and you’ll have access to all eight recorded workshops after the event.

We’ll be updating the TRENZ Hui 2022 website with more programme details, so check back regularly.

As we look forward to our borders reopening, we are excited that these events will start reconnecting New Zealand operators with the international travel trade to facilitate new business.
