Understand effective climate reporting, best practice, key terminology, and some of the reputational perils of poor communication.

Jane utilises her extensive industry experience to provide strategic input to clients and governance oversight to the agency. Skilled at strategic reputation management, assisting directors and company senior executives plan their stakeholder engagement, integrated communications and corporate affairs, Jane has led several agencies and had a stint as a trade commissioner for NZT&E. “Smart and well-connected” according to the NZ Listener Influentials List, she uses her private, public sector and international focus to assist companies and organisations develop strategies critical to achieving key outcomes. She has held several governance roles including Global Women, the Breast Cancer Foundation, Parachute Music, and the Robin Hood Foundation.
Caren Rangi ONZM MInstD - Governor @Radio New Zealand, Te Reo Irirangi o Aotearoa
Caren Rangi is an experienced public sector governance practitioner, a qualified chartered accountant and a proud Cook Islands Maori. She is currently the Chair of the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa and of Pacific Homecare Services, Governor of Radio New Zealand (Te Reo Irirangi o Aotearoa) and a Board member of Te Papa Tongarewa / The Museum of New Zealand, the Cook Islands Investment Corporation and Pacific Co-operation Broadcasting Ltd. Her previous governance roles include Chair of the Pacific Business Trust, and Board member of NZ On Air (Irirangi Te Motu), the Charities Registration Board, Le Va and a Trustee for the Eastern and Central Community Trust. In 2018, she was conferred with an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to governance and the Pacific community. Caren is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Member of the Institute of Directors and a Member of the Chapter Zero NZ Steering Committee.
Carolyn Mortland MInstD - Director @ Service Foods Ltd & Sustainability Advisor
Carolyn Mortland LLB, BA, MInstD, has twenty years of experience in the food and beverage industry, holding a variety of roles in Fonterra including corporate counsel, GM Foodservice Strategy and Director of Global Sustainability. She has a background in commercial law, including working at Chapman Tripp and as an in-house lawyer. Carolyn is a director of Service Foods Ltd and a board member on the Tāwhaki Joint Venture and The Pause Breathe Smile Trust. She is also a member of the Zespri Sustainability Advisory Board and a Beachhead Advisor with NZTE where she helps embed sustainability into the strategy for many of New Zealand’s food and fibre exporting companies. Carolyn has an LLB and BA (Victoria University) and is a Member of the Institute of Directors.
