Air NZ and tradie Logan Dodds release epic Kiwi OE video
Air New Zealand has teamed up with tradie Logan Dodds, known for his online travel videos, to "inspire young Kiwis to get out and explore their backyard".
The national airline partnered with Dodds and his friend Trent Nattrass to experience all New Zealand has to offer, creating the four minute clip KiwiDaze during six weeks of summer.
The pair travelled to Cape Reinga, Coromandel, Rotorua, Wellington, Blenheim, Franz Josef, Wanaka, Dunedin, and Bluff enjoying skydiving, bungee jumping, hiking, canyoning, and swimming with dolphins.
"We were blown away by the number of hidden gems around New Zealand. Hokitika is my new favourite place in New Zealand. The Blue Springs at Putaruru literally took our breath away, the West Coast is stunning, and nothing beats the raw Kiwi-ness of the Far North," Dodds who has more than a million views of his videos on social media, said.
Air New Zealand Head of Global Brand Jodi Williams said the airline partnered with the plumber to showcase how New Zealand stacked up with the rest of the world and to show younger New Zealanders "sometimes, the biggest adventure of all lies in our own backyard".
The video features a local soundtrack of music by Jupiter Project, Kings and General Lee, and Baynk.
