Cycle Journeys achieves Qualmark Gold Award

Cycle Journeys have been awarded the Qualmark Gold Sustainable Tourism Business Award which recognises the companies focus on continuously improving their economic, social and environmental performance.
General Manager Dan Thomas credits the dedication from the staff teams in both Twizel and Hokitika, and the customer centric programmes driven by the sales team in Christchurch.
“After 8 years of operation across both the Alps 2 Ocean and the West Coast Wilderness Trail, we have increasingly fine tuned the way we work and how we can do things better. Our customer interaction and feedback keeps us grounded and highlights those areas where the customer ‘Moment of Truth’ can best be improved. Achieving a Qualmark Gold Award is great recognition of the work being done right throughout the company,” he said.

Cycle Journeys operates on the Alps 2 Ocean and West Coast Wilderness Trails, with a new depot under construction to service the Paparoa Track. The company operates with a fleet of approximately 600 bikes - including 110 E-Bikes.
