The West Coast is at Alert Level 2. COVID-19 Business Support
Awards rescheduled for 18 March
Due to recent shifts in alert levels, the 7th Development West Coast Leading Light Business Excellence Awards has been postponed to 18 March 2022.
“After consultation with sponsors and stakeholders, we have decided to reschedule the Awards for March,” DWC Chief Executive Heath Milne said.
“The format and categories will remain the same and the online entry form will be live until the end of the year.
“This will allow businesses to focus their energies on managing the disruptions from the current COVID-alert level changes and for the DWC team to focus on supporting them.
“For businesses that have already submitted their entry applications and those that have started the process, there’s no need to worry. Entries submitted or started online will remain live and editable for the upcoming months.
“Along with the sponsors, we feel the event is best celebrated in person at an Awards ceremony in the New Year.”
Entries for the Awards now close at the revised date of 10 December 2021, finalists will be announced on 9 February 2022, and the Awards ceremony will be held at the Shantytown Events Centre on Friday, 18 March 2022.
