Lake Matheson, Glacier Country

Lake Matheson

The iconic Lake Matheson is the most Instagrammed spot in New Zealand and with good reason! It’s famous for its mirror reflections of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman on clear days.

Alex Knobb Track – Franz Josef

This spot is not for the faint-hearted, it’s actually an advanced hiking trail. But once you get to the top, you have epic views of Franz Josefunfurl before you.

Either Franz Josef or Fox Glaciers

It’s true, snapping a picture on the glaciers themselves is hard to beat. The ice is ever moving and changing, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Brewster Hut

Haast Pass is a magical spot to travel through with mountains towering over you and glacial blue rivers winding alongside you. Tucked away in the mountains of Haast Pass is Brewster Hut, a hut with epic views over the UNESCO World Heritage Area.

Hokitika Gorge

The blue waters have to be seen to be believed, be prepared to have your snap at the famous gorge liked many times!

Mt Brown Hut

The cutest backcountry hut you will encounter in New Zealand, nestled up in the mountains above Lake Kaniere. This iconic yellow little hut has featured on Instagram many a time.

Pancake Rocks & Blowholes
