We are a locally owned and operated company that pride ourselves on being a little bit different!

If you are looking at going rafting on some great New Zealand rivers, spending time in the outdoors, or taking the family out for a splash you have come to the right place.

Our family run company offers a range of rafting tours from day trips to multi-day experiences. Our trips are full of stunning scenery and entertaining white water. Come on an adventure with us through the heart of back country New Zealand.

Grey Wilderness Raft - 1 Day Tour

Ride the class 3 rapids of the Upper Grey river as we journey through native beech forest then relax and enjoy the pristine scenery as we pass through the Gentle Annie Gorge.

Enjoy a catered lunch at the river’s edge and take the opportunity to leap into the river off the jump cliff.

Adults: NZ$220 per person.

Children: NZ$190 per person (10yrs – 15yrs).

Duration: 7 hours.

Pick up times: 9am Reefton, 9.20am Ikamatua, 8.40am Greymouth(additional $20pp).

Food: Lunch and snacks supplied.

All river equipment supplied.

Arnold Family Raft - 1/2 Day Tour

If you are looking for an activity for the whole family then look no more!! The Arnold river near Greymouth is a family friendly river which has class 2 rapids to give the kids there first fun white water experience.

Adults: $150 per person.

Child: $120 per person (5yrs - 15yrs).

Duration: 4 hours.

Pick up times: Morning tour: 9am from Greymouth, 9:15am from Stillwater. Afternoon tours available on demand.

All river equipment supplied.

Multi-Day Expeditions

Take the time to get away from the world and go to the simple life of being on the river with one of our multi-day tours.

Travel through the back country, sleep in tents on the river's edge and have meals cooked on the open fire.

All clothes, equipment and food are taken on the rafts with us to be self-efficient for the duration of the journey.

We have a variety of multi-day tours to pick from as shown on our website.

Inland Adventures is based out of Reefton which is situated near Greymouth and Westport in the Buller region of the West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand. Reefton is only several hours from the Christchurch international airport. For The Grey River, tours depart Reefton with pick-ups also in Ikamatua and on request Greymouth.
