Petr Hlavacek Gallery is located in a quiet, secluded private setting, right at the foothills of the Southern Alps - 2km north of a small village of Whataroa on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand and only 20 min drive north from Franz Josef Glacier. 20 collectable Fine Art Prints of unique and pristine landscape photographs are on display here. These prints are beautifully presented framed under museum glass in the intimate and quiet spaces of the private gallery and 50 more are presented in the gallery album for viewing. Petr Hlavacek's photographs stunningly portray the uniqueness, diversity and wilderness of New Zealand landscapes. All photographs are in collectable Limited Editions and are individually printed right in the studio next to the gallery by Petr himself, using the state-of-the-art digital printing pigmented technologies and best archival materials available today.
Petr Hlavacek Gallery is located approximately 28km north from Franz Josef Glacier, in the small village of Whataroa, right on the edge of the Westland Tai Poutini National Park - UNESCO World Heritage Area. About 2km further north of Whataroa village, there are gallery road signs on the main State Highway directing you straight to us. There is good sized carpark at the gallery for its easy access.
