Only 30mins north of Greymouth and 300m south of the famous Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes, the Resort is only a stone’s throw from Punakaiki beach and is surrounded by the Paporoa National Park.
Constructed in 1999, the Resort is a modern complex that has been designed to maximise the stunning coastline scenery and backdrop of the rainforest.
Accommodation
The Resort provides two styles of accommodation:
- Standard Resort Rooms.
- Eco Suites.
The rooms are designed in harmony with the local environment and have either ocean or rainforest views.
All rooms are staggered to maintain a sense of privacy and seclusion.
Slightly more spacious than the Standard Resort Rooms, the luxury Eco- Suites have been designed and built to have minimal impact on the local environment.
Jacob’s Grill Restaurant
Jacob’s Grill and the Club Bar provide the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around the restaurant for true beach-front dining.
The Club Bar offers a great location to relax with a coffee by the fire and admire the rugged West Coast beach.
Open from 4pm, the bar offers a selection of regional wines and locally produced beers.
The restaurant and bar are prime locations to relax and admire the impressive, rugged West Coast beach and spectacular sunsets.
Directions
The Punakaiki Resort is located 300m south of the famous Pancake Rocks and Blowholes and approx. 42 kms North of Greymouth on State Highway 6 and 60 kms South of Westport.
