This one-day course is for managers, health and safety advisers and representatives and anyone with an interest in, or responsibility for, workplace health and safety. The day is interactive with an opportunity to relate the needs of health and safety with your own industry. A comprehensive workbook is supplied.

Helen has extensive health and safety experience, including over 20 years as a health and safety consultant and trainer, as well as significant in-house experience within both the public and private sector. Helen regularly advises on systems audits, legislation updates and documentation, customised in-house training, staff inductions and on-call support. She works with a wide range of clients from across a variety of sectors.
You’ll learn about:
- The key components of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 including roles and responsibilities
- Health and safety management systems
- How to effectively perform the responsibilities of a workplace health and safety representative or committee member
- Risk management process
- Practical tips that you can use in your workplace.
