Farmlands AgFest is a keystone event for the West Coast. Attracting over 15,000 visitors to the 2018 event, AgFest is a two-day festival that promotes and advances our primary industries. Importantly, AgFest celebrates our thriving community, our innovative people, technologies, youth, education, and the best in West Coast hospitality.

AgFest is unique. It is the ONLY privately-owned field day in New Zealand and has more than doubled in size since its inception. With four successful bi-annual events under its belt, AgFest has something for every visitor and has transformed from a basic event to an exciting community festival. The list of exhibitions, attractions and entertainment Is diverse with both local and national companies’ promoting their services, products and AgFest only deals. There are pop up shops: fashion, art, homewares, food, beverages, local produce, and entertainment: including live music, a children's entertainment area with fairground rides and game stalls along with events such as cookery demos and lessons and the rural bachelor competition.
