Ellie’s adventure began with a Scenic Plus TranzAlpine train ride from Christchurch to Greymouth, where she took in the breathtaking views of the Southern Alps and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival in Greymouth, Explore West Coast greeted Ellie and whisked her away on a scenic tour to the famed Punakaiki Pancake Rocks and Blowholes.
Following her exploration, Ellie spent the night at the Scenic Hotel Punakaiki, where she enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Ocean View Restaurant & Bar, all while soaking in the serene coastal vistas. The next day, Ellie explored the Māwhera Pounamu Pathway, immersing herself in the rich cultural heritage of the West Coast.
Ellie stopped by Monteith’s Brewery for a tasty lunch, where she sampled the local craft beers and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. Her journey concluded with a return trip to Christchurch on the TranzAlpine.
