Kia Ora Magazine Explores the West Coast
We're excited to welcome Kia Ora, Air New Zealand’s inflight magazine, to the West Coast this June as part of a feature showcasing the West Coast. Over four days, their writer will journey from Haast to Okārito, experiencing some of our most iconic landscapes and local gems along the way.
The itinerary includes short scenic walks, a visit to Jackson Bay, and dining at local favourites like SnakeBite Brewery and Betsey Jane. They'll take in sunrise at Lake Matheson, paddle through the Okarito lagoon, unwind in the Waiho Hot Tubs, and enjoy a heli-hike on Franz Josef Glacier. The trip wraps up with a visit to the West Coast Wildlife Centre before heading back to Wanaka.
