To help prepare for the fast approaching summer season, you’re invited to an online VISTR data session and DWC quarterly update.
Following some great feedback from the recent Tourism Summit, Development West Coast (DWC) has invited Dr. Moritz Miebach (Dr. Mo) from VISTR to provide a practical overview of both the West Coast specific Destination Insights Dashboard and the Forward Demand Monitor.
The Dashboard serves as your comprehensive source for all regional tourism data, while the Forward Demand Monitor offers forward-looking insights into tourism demand. In this session, Dr Mo will briefly discuss why these tools matter for tourism operators, how to find them within the DWC site, and how to use them along with the data they contain. We will then dive into specific examples of how to extract meaningful insights from the data.
Following Dr. Mo’s presentation, DWC will provide a 30 minute forward focussed update on the summer ahead and an overview of what trade activity is planned for the next 12 months to ensure these opportunities are on your radar. There have also been quite a few changes within the team here, so we will take you through what these mean for you.
