Harvey Sara, the winner of Development West Coast's 'Car up for Jabs' initiative, was lost for words when his brand new Ford Ranger arrived.
DWC partnered with Grey Ford in an effort to boost West Coast vaccination rates, with doubled vaxxed Coasters going in the draw to win a major prize of a brand-new Ford Escape or 2WD Ranger.
87 year old Harvey said his children helped him choose the Ford Ranger.
The original idea of offering some form of encouragement to get people vaccinated was first suggested by DWC Trustee Brent Oldham. With input from the DHB and DWC staff the idea developed, with DWC partnering with Grey Ford for the ‘Car up for Jabs’ initiative.
