Realtors conference held on the Coast
The NZ Realtors Rural Network Conference was held on the West Coast in late July with over 70 representatives from across New Zealand attending the two-day event.
Delegates enjoyed a networking evening at Monteith’s brewery, a conference and gala dinner at The West Coast Events Centre, and a tour of Cranley Farms which showcased the potential and possibilities of dairy farming in the region.
NZ Realtors Rural Network General Manager and conference organiser Donna Peffers said there was a very good representation amongst the attendees from Kerikeri to Dunedin and the event was ‘a great opportunity to get together and gain knowledge’.
Each year the conference is held in a different location, and this year it was all about supporting the West Coast, said West Coast Rural Area Manager of Property Brokers Gareth Cox. “It’s good as a Coaster bringing people throughout the country to the West Coast and showcasing what we’ve got.’’
The conference was a week after the Buller floods and while no delegates or suppliers for this event were impacted, they wanted to support the local recovery. Delegates raised a phenomenal $54k for the Buller Mayoral Relief Fund through a combination of silent and live auctions.
