Bella Vista Motel Westport– Qualmark Bronze 4 Star

EV Charging at Bella Vista Motel Westport is now available!

We offer two electric vehicle charging stations that are suitable for most electric vehicle types… this is a first for hotels or motels in Westport.

The destination EV chargers are wall mounted in our motel car park, so your electric vehicle can charge safely and securely, right outside your motel room.

We offer overnight charging at $10 per car. You can connect to charge when you arrive, and if you go out again you can continue the charge upon your return.

Please advise reception if you require our motel EV charging service.

Heartland Hotel Glacier Country has opened its doors for the first time in four years after being in hibernation during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 51 serviced rooms all feature Free View TV, direct dial telephone, clock radio, tea & coffee making facilities & the hotel is smoke-free. The fully licensed Sir William Fox Restaurant & Bar, complete with a welcoming open fire is open for breakfast and dinner. This cosy retreat is perfectly located for activities such as glacier skiing & hiking, rainforest & bush walks, alpine climbing, White Heron, penguin or seal colony visits, fishing, hunting & more.

Congratulations to Cindy and Jim who are the newest owners of Bella Vista Motel Franz Josef Glacier. Cindy and Jim may already be familiar to you as they previously managed Franz Alpine Retreat.

Bella Vista Franz Josef is located in close proximity to shops, restaurants and other activities, only a short walk to the Kiwi incubation unit at the West Coast Wildlife Centre.

The purpose built studios and one-bedroom units have been designed with parking at the door for your convenience. You have a choice of king, queen or single beds. Rooms vary from just tea and toast making facilities to those with cooking facilities. The motel can offer continental breakfasts and evening meals charge back facilities, dine in or dine out.

A spacious new sauna was handcrafted and built during the winter months for guests to enjoy along with a hot tub that can be used at any time.

Goldfield Suites – Qualmark Gold 4 Star Plus 

Received the highest Qualmark accreditation of Gold 4 Star Plus in the Motel category and BBQ dinners are back for Summer! 

Over the summer season, Goldfield suites prepare an alfresco evening meal for guests. This is a chef's choice, slow-cooked BBQ meal of the day, consisting of lamb, beef, pork, venison or salmon. Our dinners are accompanied by fresh baby potatoes, and fresh organic salad from our garden. It is not uncommon to have all of our guests around the evening table swapping travel tips in a variety of languages and generally giving a metropolitan atmosphere. We require a minimum of two people for dinner, and it costs $40 per person.
