On Yer Bike Off Road Adventures
Business closure from the end of April 2024.
Regretfully, owners Mike and Sue Roper have made the tough decision to close the off-road adventures business in April 2024. Retirement is calling and a relaxing lifestyle on the farm sounds rather appealing to them both. Mike says, “We have really enjoyed it over the years and will miss it dearly”. Development West Coast and industry partners wish them all the very best with their new adventures.

A new helicopter has entered the fleet – it’s called an EC 120 and can take a maximum of 4 passengers – this means more chances of flying!
Precision Helicopters offer a “Fly Six Glaciers & Snow Landing” tour, located on the main road to the Hokitika Gorge – you can’t miss it!
During this tour, you will visit remote locations where Pounamu (greenstone) and gold are found. Spot the historic deer stalker huts and wild alpine animals like Himalayan Tahr. Our experienced pilot will give you a running commentary of the land's amazing history.
The snow melt from the glaciers creates an unbelievable unspoiled crystal clear water. These sites provide vast expansive views of native bush and beautiful alpine terrain. Your flight will open your eyes to the true beauty of New Zealand.
On your flight home, you will land at one of Precision Helicopters magical snow landing locations. 360 degree views of snow covered alpine mountain's that touch the West Coast sea. The views are mind blowing. It is a surreal feeling standing in this environment, a true pure New Zealand experience.
