Hikoi Waewae guided walks offer you the unique opportunity to experience a guided walk from a local Maori perspective. Our guides are tribal members of the Ngati Waewae Hapu. They will share their knowledge of pounamu (greenstone), purakau (legends), pakiwaitara (history) and whakapapa (genealogy) with you. We operate our guided walks in various locations within the Westland district. As such we can tailor a tour to suit yours timeframe, group size and budget.
