Waka Puna Paddle and Pedal Co

Previously known as Punakaiki Canoes, Waka Puna is dedicated to showcasing the natural beauty of our paradise. We’ve proudly welcomed thousands of guests to experience the pristine wilderness along the Pororari River. Today, we’ve expanded our offerings to include stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) and E-bikes, with even more adventures on the horizon.

Kayak and Stand-Up Paddleboard Rentals

Explore our untouched jungle with a selection of modern watercraft, including single and double kayaks, sit-on-top kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). We provide all the necessary safety equipment to ensure your adventure is both enjoyable and secure. Duration: 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

E-Bike Cruisers

Our unique E-bike cruisers offer a relaxed and stylish way to discover the area. Head north to Bullock Creek Road and Cave Creek, explore Truman’s Track, or venture to Fox River. Alternatively, bike south to see the Pancake Rocks and then tackle the Punakaiki River Track, part of the Paparoa Great Walk. Plenty of routes await you!

Duration: 2 to 4 hours.

Paddle & Pedal Combo

For the ultimate experience, combine our bike and kayak rentals. Spend a full day immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the region with two distinct adventures. Duration: Minimum 4 hours.
