The Westland Recreation Centre has swimming pools, hydroslides, hot tub, sauna, gym, group fitness classes, sports stadium for multi sporting codes, an activity/meeting room and much more, all designed to meet a range of community sporting, leisure and recreational needs.
It is adjacent to the croquet, tennis and hockey grounds, as well as close to Greymouth High School basketball court.
This makes it the ideal venue for hosting national tournaments of various sporting codes.
