The TECNZ Annual Tourism Conference brings together Inbound Tour Operators (ITOs) and leading tourism businesses from around New Zealand to discuss key issues affecting international tourism and this year, the return of long-haul international visitors to NZ. The conference provides an opportunity to connect, discuss and strategize with expert speakers and delegates. It is the must attend event for all Tourism Export Council of New Zealand members.

This year, the TECNZ Tourism Conference is a three-day event held at The Rutherford Hotel, Nelson that includes an opportunity to have buyer (ITO)/seller ) Operators appointments.
Full member conference registration fee includes:
- Access to all speaker and workshop/breakout sessions
- Tourism Trade Expo ITO appointments

- Two networking functions:
- Awards Function - Wednesday 10 August

The Tourism Trade Expo event will have 8min appointments for Allied supplier members to meet with Inbound members. There will be a morning and afternoon appointment stream on Tuesday 9th August and a morning session on Wednesday 10th August. The AGM starts at 12.15pm and conference begins 1.30pm.
The conference venue is the Rutherford Hotel (a Heritage property). The Rutherford Hotel room rate for conference delegates is $152.00 + GST per night per room. The Achievement Awards will be held Wednesday night on the 10th August. The Awards will be orientated around new conservation, biodiversity, community, charity and sustainability areas plus a best pivot.
The evening networking function on Thursday 11th August held at Harvest Kitchen (Seifried Winery) with a ‘Survivor’ theme. Apt for the past two years. Prizes for best costume and The Beat Girls as entertainment will again be on offer.
