Join byte and WestTech for a series of 2 x 45-minute Zoom sessions to discover tips, tricks, and hidden features to help you get the most out of your Android device.
- Session 1: Mastering Your Android Essentials: Learn how to optimise your home screen, manage notifications, and use built-in features like Google Assistant. Discover how to customise your device to suit your needs and improve your overall user experience.
- Session 2: Advanced Android Features and Apps: Explore advanced features that are available in developer mode or through becoming a superuser. Discover new apps and tools to enhance your productivity, entertainment, and security.
When: 12.15pm - 1pm on Wednesday 31 July, and Friday 2 August. The sessions will be recorded and available until 31 August 2024.
Confirmation date is Tues 30 July. The Friday session has the option of meeting at Te Whare Matihiko - The House of Digital at 25 Hamilton St with soup and a bun available

All courses are run online. 12.15pm - 1pm. Learn at your desk. A recording of each session will be available - so you can revise or watch at your leisure. Friday sessions of courses 24.31, 24.32, and 24.33 will also be available at Te Whare Matihiko, The House Of Digital (HOD), 25 Hamilton St, Hokitika on the big screen. A bowl of vegetable soup and a bun will be available.
Andrew Wright is knowledgeable, professional and a highly experienced and respected teacher of digital technology. He qualified as a librarian and specialised in the development of Information Technology products to make IT more accessible to all. He is a part of the worldwide open source community. Andrew has run his own international company for over 30 years and never purchased a piece of proprietary software. He has built and maintained numerous websites for individuals and companies using easily accessible tools.
