Events and Administration Manager

Development West Coast (DWC), as the economy development agency for the region, is looking for an Events and Administration Manager to join the team.
About Development West Coast
DWC was set up as a Charitable Trust in 2001 to manage, invest and distribute income from a fund received from the Government. This fund was an adjustment package for the loss of indigenous forestry and the privatisation of much infrastructure on the West Coast in the late 1990s.
DWC is governed by a Deed of Trust to promote sustainable employment opportunities; and generate long term economic benefits for the West Coast.
About The Role
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of commercial business operations and the acumen to navigate a diverse organisational environment. You will bring experience from roles where high-level administration and event coordination go hand in hand with teamwork and people-focused communication.
- Manage and deliver a wide range of events, from large-scale initiatives like the Leading Light Business Excellence Awards to smaller district and business events that directly benefit the West Coast business community.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and reporting.
- Oversee the management of office resources and vendor contracts, ensuring an efficient and productive work environment.
- Collaborate across teams to enhance systems, processes, and organisational logistics.
- Work closely with stakeholders to plan and execute events that align with DWC’s strategic goals.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in high-level administration and event/project management roles, ideally within a commercial or business-focused environment.
- Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
