Held in Rotorua last week, TRENZ brought together over 1,200 delegates, including travel buyers from 26 countries and more than 350 tourism operators.
Development West Coast (DWC) was joined at the West Coast stand by four leading regional operators: Franz Josef Wilderness Tours, Rainforest Retreat, Maruia Hot Springs, and Heliservices.NZ. A further nine national tourism companies with West Coast products also took part, helping boost the region’s visibility on the international stage.
With global travel demand continuing to rebound, the event was a major opportunity to showcase the Coast’s unique experiences to key international markets.
To build on this momentum, DWC’s tourism team is now hosting post-TRENZ familiarisation tours, giving selected international buyers a firsthand taste of what makes the West Coast so special.
