Franz Josef Wilderness Tours - Quad bike tours incorporated
They purchased Across Country Quad Bikes in January and have built up a team of passionate quad bike guides who consistently receive wonderful feedback from all of their customers. They have a fleet of 15 Can-am ATV vehicles, a mixture of single & double quad bikes as well adventure buggy's which are great for families.
They can take large groups of up to 20 people in a mixture of vehicle options, and operate with a minimum of 2 passengers. Their tours feature amazing views of the glacier on a fine day or it's one of the best ways to have fun in the rain Franz Josef! They provide high quality wet weather gear which includes: gum boots, pants, jackets, gloves & helmets.

Located just 4 kilometres south of Hokitika on State Highway 6, heading towards the glaciers, where the Mahinapua Creek joins the West Coast Wilderness Cycle Trail though their property. They offer accommodation, kayak and bike rentals as well as a sunset cruise.

West Coast Treetop Walkway - now Qualmark Gold
The dual zipline starts from the top of the Tower at 45 meters above ground (equivalent to a 15 floors building). The two hour adventure commences at the West Coast Tree Top Visitor Centre / Café where you check in. Meet your highly trained and knowledgeable guide and get geared up ready for an experience of a lifetime! The guide will take you along the tree top structure enjoying and learning about the unique surrounding Rimu rainforest. Climb the 106 steps to the top of the spiral tower and hook up on the tandem ziplines. Fly through the Rimu tree-tops at speeds in excess of 60km/hour for 425 metres before landing right back where you both started.
