About

After gearing up at our base and a safety briefing, you start the 1100m climb traversing through ancient podocarp rainforest, if you have beaten the cloud, you arrive at the Mt Fox summit for amazing 360° views and an Instagram photo that will be the envy of family and friends. Enjoy your well earnt lunch at the top of Mt Fox before heading back down the same way you came up. Disclaimer: This trip is not to be taken lightly as it involves challenging steep terrain, a rugged route, is slippery and requires a good fitness level, classic Untamed Natural Wilderness at its best. Please note: This is a mountain rainforest trip, you will not go on the glacier (ice) and is weather dependent.
