About

Ribbonwood Retreat is located in the heart of Glacier Country on the secluded West Coast of New Zealand, a short 5-minute drive to the hub of Franz Josef Glacier village. The property is set upon two and a half acres of manicured grounds, alive with native bush and lush lawns abundant with birdlife. Nestled on the doorstep of Westland National Park, our boutique stay offers two different accommodation options made up of The Cottage and the Waiho Suite. The Cottage is a cosy, private, fully self-contained 40-square metre Scandinavian-inspired abode crafted from natural wood boasting glacier and mountain views. The two-bedroom Waiho Suite offers exclusive use of the entire top floor with views of the stunning UNESCO World Heritage site.
