Locals tip: The TranzAlpine train stops at the lake side in Moana an dis a nice alternative to board the train to Christchurch a little later in the day.

From the Greymouth i-SITE drive inland under the Cobden Bridge, follow the road until you turn right onto Arnold Valley Rd (signs for Moana/Christchurch/Lake Brunner Road/Lake Brunner Tourist Drive), turn onto Ahau Road to go into the Moana township and most popular lake side spots.
